UmpCall Terms of Service

The service

UmpCall provides cricket tools including digital toss, ball-by-ball scorebook, umpire counter, optional club cloud, match handover, player stats, and live match follow.

UmpCall is a scoring utility. It is not an official cricket board, ICC-certified scoring system, gambling product, or replacement for official league records.

Accounts and club access

Treat club join codes, live match codes, recovery codes, and handover pass codes like passwords. Your club is responsible for keeping them confidential.

Access codes

• Scorer join code: trusted scorers can edit rosters and score for your club.
• Viewer join code: read-only members can view club rosters and match history.
• Club ID plus scorer code: owner recovery on a new device.
• Live match code: spectators can follow that match's scoreboard.
• Handover pass code: a substitute scorer can take over scoring mid-match.

User content and acceptable use

You are responsible for team names, player names, club names, match data, and custom images you enter. Do not enter content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, infringing, or impersonating others.

• Do not bypass club role restrictions or access another club's data without authorization.
• Do not brute-force join, recovery, live match, or handover codes.
• Do not spam club creation, recovery attempts, or live publishes.
• Do not use UmpCall for gambling or wagering on toss outcomes.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse backend systems.

Reports and moderation

To report offensive names, live match content, or club abuse, email hello@gullydev.com with subject Report. Include the match or club code only if safe to share. We aim to review reports within 72 hours.

Ownership

UmpCall, its branding, mascot, and app design are owned by GullyDev. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for personal and league scoring. You retain rights to content you enter and grant us a license to store and transmit it only to operate features you enable.

No warranty and limitation of liability

UmpCall is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free scoring, permanent storage, or that cloud sync will always succeed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GullyDev is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or league decisions based on app output. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so those limits apply only where lawful.

Store terms, termination, and law

• If downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple's licensed application terms also apply.
• If downloaded from Google Play, Google Play terms also apply.
• You may stop using UmpCall by uninstalling it. We may suspend cloud access for abuse or Terms violations.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of India unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
