UmpCall Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
Information stored on your device
Unless you choose to sync or publish a live match, UmpCall stores cricket data locally on your phone or tablet.
Optional cloud features
When you use club, live match, recovery, or handover features, UmpCall sends only the data needed for those features over HTTPS to backend infrastructure.
- Anonymous session identifier for membership and recovery.
- Club names, team names, player names, rosters, scores, match state, and live score snapshots.
- Join, live match, handover, and recovery codes used for access control.
You control what goes online by choosing club, sync, live match, or handover features. Solo scoring, toss, and counter can be used offline.
What we do not collect
Permissions
- Photos: optional, only when you choose a custom toss coin image.
- Network: optional, for club sync, live follow, handover, and recovery.
- Keep screen on: used while scoring or counting during a match.
Sharing, retention, and deletion
Cloud hosting is provided by Supabase as our infrastructure processor. Apple and Google may process standard install, crash, and store metadata under their own policies.
- Local data stays until you reset it, delete matches, or uninstall UmpCall.
- Club cloud data remains while the club exists. Admins can disband a club to delete club cloud data.
- To request server-side deletion, email hello@gullydev.com with subject Privacy. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Security and rights
We use HTTPS/TLS for cloud features and backend access controls. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to processing of personal data.
No ads. No analytics SDKs. Data not sold.
